Not to brag . . .

But I think I have quite possibly married the most amazing man ever. Let me explain. For my birthday he booked me a couple of spa treatments. Then he worked from home yesterday so I could go and not have to deal with finding a babysitter. So I went to the spa, had lunch, went shopping. ALL BY MYSELF. It was heavenly. I came home in time to get Ashlie to her violin lesson. When we got home from there, he had dinner ON THE TABLE. I know! Then he helped clean up, took care of the kids (bathed Cam so we didn't have to do it in the morning). AND THEN I went to sleep at 8:00. It was wonderful. I hope all of you out there have wonderful husbands, too.

It is SO NICE to hear about people who are HAPPILY MARRIED (I am too and it's the BEST). Way too often you hear that couples are having trouble - it's so sad. Yeah for you and Chris!! Happy Birthday (yesterday?) it sounds like it will go down in your personal history as "particularly excellent."

Wow!!!! I'm soooo jealous! Me and Io are happily married, but there is always room for improvement! Can you have your husband talk to mine??? LOL

How nice! BC sucks at the gifts, but he's getting better. Have you ever heard the story about my first birthday after we were married (13 days)? He bought me a glow in the dark yo-yo. Apparently it was supposed to be funny and then he'd give me my real gift. Only he never actually bought the real gift. It took diamond earrings for Christmas a couple of years later for me to get over that.

So, Char, can I see this glow in the dark yo-yo some time? You must be a master by now!
