Lake Powell

Chris and I took the kids to Lake Powell over the 4th of July (our first trip there, ever!)!! We went with my sister and her family. Here are some of the highlights:

We practiced handstands in the water
The boys hung out

We did a lot of relaxing

We took a TON of photos of the kids (Taylor, Tyrus, Tia, Ashlie, Braxten, Cameron)

We took MORE photos

Taylor learned to waterski (she did awesome!)

We towed my sisters boat (because it broke down). Then our alternator went out. Between the two boats we were able to get one working. It made for a very exciting boat ride back to Bullfrog Marina (towing Laura's boat)

We taught the kids some simple water ballet (it's a star)

We climbed on lots of rocks

Cam and Mom caught our first fish - cat fish and walleye (sp??)

Love, love, LOVED Lake Powell and can't wait to go back (maybe in August-after finals, of course!!)!!!!!
(I even bought a LP sticker for my car -lame, I know)

Looks like a great trip!

I LOVE Powell. Haven't been since Keller was a baby, but practically lived there in the summers in high school and college.

AHHHHH! Thanks for sharing! I actually feel more relaxed just looking at your photos. Glad you had a good time. P.S. Ive never been there without some sort of vehicle or boat trouble. It's part of the Lake Powell experience.
