Update

Another update -

Surgery went well - all should be repaired.

Thank you for all the meals, the well wishes, the phone calls. I feel so weepy and overcome with emotion over all the love and support I have been given during my surgeries. I think I have the best family and friends possible - anywhere in the world!!

My marathon dream will not be realized this year. 2011 will be my year, right?? I am making my peace with the realization I will not be running strong this summer.

Thank you, everyone - family, friends, friends that feel like family - I love you all!!

Salt Lake 1/2 Marathon

Today was the Salt Lake Marathon, 1/2 Marathon and 5K. I had four of my "boys" and one of my "girls" run in the race (we run most races together).

I was not able to join them. I am heading to the hospital on Tuesday for yet ANOTHER surgery (to fix problems from the last one)

I am feeling a little weepy today about that . . .

I joined the racers at the starting line, but forgot my camera in the car (crap!)

It was amazing! There were over 5,000 runners in the 1/2 and full marathon. I shed a few tears - it's hard to be the supporter and NOT the RUNNER!

The marathon was amazing. All my boys (and girl) ran a great race. Thank you to all the marathon coordinators, crew, supporters.

I miss running - I miss racing. If you haven't run a race or experienced a race, you are missing out. There is an amazing energy and such a sense of accomplishment and triumph. Congrats to all the finishers - hope to join you next year!

Marathon

Registration for the St George Marathon is happening now!! The cap has been raised to 7400 - odds look good on getting in. Registration closes May 1st, midnight.

I wasn't going to sign up, then I was, then I wasn't, now I AM going to make another attempt at marathon victory this year (pending doctor's approval at my appointment)

If you have never spectated (sp?) a marathon, you are missing out on an incredible experience. It is truly amazing.

I will run a marathon before I die!

What a Week

This week at the Robinson house . . . We got a new member of the family...
To play with this member of the family.

We had a two-day snowstorm...

Which inspired these two ever-so-clever girls to perform a magic show.

It was amazing, and I do mean AMAZING!

We got to have an extra "BOY" this week -

We call him Boy because he is just like the other Boy that lives here -

Cute, fun and incredibly active.

Would we want them any other way??

I love my boys - both of them!

(Though one big Boy is not used to sharing motherly attention with one little Boy)
