Birthday, Baptism and Family

I am one grateful mom to have such beautiful children, a loving, worthy husband and an amazing extended family who came to witness and celebrate my youngest son's baptism.

Scouts

My one and only scout. 

Last night was our first ever Pack Meeting.  

He couldn't stop smiling!

When did he grow up?  He seems so old!

And so the countdown begins.  A certain someone turns 8 on Saturday!

Big plans are in the works to celebrate with best friend Keller, who turns 8 on Friday!

Chocolate Anyone?

I gained weight over fall semester.  A LOT of weight.

(Stress and surgeries suck!!!!) 

So much weight I can't fit into any of my clothes.  

So now I mostly wear sweats.  

It's awesome.  And I do mean AWESOME. 

So here I am, back where I started.  

Back to the nutritionist and trainer. 

Back to eating every two hours.  

Yum, you say?  No, not so much.   

My diet now consists of vegetables, fruits and protein shakes.  

It's worth it, right?  

I'll let you know in 3 months and $$$$ later.

Dear, sweet chocolate, shall we ever meet again??????

Where Does it All Go?

It is already January 16th!  Holy cow, where does the time go?

Christmas was great for us - we took a trip to Disneyland!!

Pictures of a beautiful new niece, Christmas card photos that were never used, a boy and his dog, a boy's first piano recital, a visit with Santa, Christmas eve and some UGLY Christmas sweaters!!

A week-long family trip to the happiest place on earth - and it was!!  

A visit with Pooh and  Mickey.   A stop at the ice cream shop and some overall "Goofy"ness!!

Now it is back to the books.  And celebrating a special someone's 8th birthday (more to come)

Hello Bloggers!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all my blogging friends!

Big year, long year, much accomplished.

Spent many days (and many dollars!!) being sick and otherwise unhealthy
Spent many days (and many dollars!!) cramming my brain full of sometimes interesting, sometimes useless knowledge
Spent many days hanging with dear friends (mostly the kids - I don't have friends anymore)
Spent many days loving/hating the weather
Spent many days living/loving/laughing/crying/raging/all of the above

...what more can I say?

And I can't even post any photos for your viewing pleasure because my card reader is broken!  But I will figure it out.

Now, to spend many days with Mickey and friends...

Where have I been?

Yes, it's been almost a month since my last post!  Wow!!  What have I been up to?

Finished up my 5th semester (wow!) of school
Finished my 100 hours of volunteer dental assisting (harder than it sounds)
Had some visits with Santa
Did some Christmas shopping
Attended many parties
Did some more Christmas shopping
Made some cookies with my pal Campbell
Finally!! cleaned my house (biofilms - all I will say)
Attended a few doctor visits (and other things)
Worked out a few times
That's about it.
